About Congress

The Central Asian Congress of Nephrologists 2026 is a major scientific and educational event dedicated to advancing modern nephrology, strengthening prevention and early detection of chronic kidney disease (CKD), implementing innovative therapeutic approaches, and fostering international scientific collaboration. The Congress will take place on October 9–10, 2026, in Aktau, on the Caspian Sea coast, bringing together leading nephrologists, scientists, and practicing physicians from Kazakhstan, Central Asian countries, the Turkic world, Türkiye, Mongolia, Europe, and other countries. The scientific program will cover key areas of modern nephrology, including CKD prevention and treatment, pharmacoeconomics and nephroprotection, the cardiorenal and metabolic continuum, dialysis and kidney transplantation, pediatric nephrology, as well as rare, orphan, autoimmune, and genetically determined kidney diseases. Particular attention will be given to modern nephroprotective strategies, including SGLT2 inhibitors, GLP-1 receptor agonists, and non-steroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists, as well as new approaches to kidney replacement therapy, infection prevention and safety in dialysis practice, and contemporary immunosuppressive protocols following kidney transplantation. The Congress will provide a platform for the exchange of scientific knowledge and clinical experience, discussion of current challenges in nephrology, and the development of new international scientific and educational partnerships.
